Promotion Speech 06-12-2013
Hello ladies and gentlemen,
my name is Swan Ye Htut and I am the elected student body president for the school year of 2012-2013. I would like to start my speech off by saying how awesome of an experience being at WMMS has been. I've gained so many memories throughout the school year that are going to last a life time. From getting renaissance to achieving life skill awards, these last few years have been filled with happiness and satisfaction. Through dismay and uncertainty, we have worked together and overcame obstacles and challenges to get to the point we’re at now. The school has grown and developed along with its students.
One thing we shouldn't forget to appreciate and respect are all of the teachers’ and staffs’ effort and dedication to make our middle school experience fun, smooth and educational (all at the same time)! They've spent countless hours teaching and making sure the students are ready for the future and the rest of their lives. They think day and night about their students and how they can improve their classroom environment. These teachers are willing to help you with not only your educational needs but also your emotional and mental needs. You can always trust them and talk to them as if they were your best friends.
Through tough and thin, we have survived and are about to start a new page in our lives.The four years we spend in high school are going to be more challenging and exciting than ever but I believe that we’re as ready as we’ll ever be and cannot wait to take on this new obstacle filled with great opportunities and fun. I wish and hope that everyone will be successful and reach their dreams throughout and after high school. As people say, Aim for the stars and unleash your limitless potential.
Last, but not least,I would like to thank everyone that came to attend this event to support their children and see the next generation of bright young leaders promote and grow up as human beings.
