                   ဒီစာကိုေရးဖို႕ (၅) ႏွစ္ေစာင္႕ရတယ္။ အရင္ (၂ဝ၁၄) မွာေရးခဲ႕တဲ႕ေဆာင္းပါးက “ကြ်န္ေတာ္တက္ခ်င္တဲ႕ေက်ာင္း ကြ်န္ေတာ႕သားတက္ေနျပီ” အခုေျပာခ်င္တဲ႕ဝမ္းသာစရာကေတာ႕ “ကြ်န္ေတာ္လုပ္ခ်င္တဲ႕ Podcast ကြ်န္ေတာ႕သားလုပ္ေနျပီ” ဆုိတာပါပဲ။

          အမွန္က Podcast ဆိုတာကိုျမန္မာစာဖတ္သူေတြကိုမိတ္ဆက္ေပးဖို႕အခါခါၾကိဳးစားခဲ႕ဖူးတယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ႕ အင္တာနက္ဟာ Facebook လုိ႕မွတ္ယူထားတဲ႕ျမန္မာလူမ်ိဳးၾကားမွာ အသံဖုိင္ကုိျပန္ဖြင္႕ေပးတဲ႕ Mp3 ဖိုိင္ဟာ ျပန္လည္လို႕တိုးမေပါက္တာေၾကာင္႕ ေနာက္ပိုင္းမွာ Facebook LIVE ကုိသံုးျပီး ကြ်န္ေတာ္လုပ္ခ်င္တဲ႕အသိပညာျဖန္႕ေဝျခင္းေတြကုိဆက္လက္လုပ္ေဆာင္ႏုိင္ခဲ႕တယ္။

The Golden Mean or Doctrine of the Mean by Aristotle is the idea that ethical values should result from a balance (or mean) between two vices. We thought it’d be perfect for us considering we have different opinions on how the world works but through productive discussion, arrive at a better understanding of the topic.

Then, Timothy Scheuermann and I have the perfect thing for you! Announcing our brand new podcast, the Golden Mean! 🎉🎉Join us as we talk about sports, politics, and current events, with a tinge of philosophy and humor here and there!

Tim and I have talked about doing a podcast together since we had philosophy class together in our senior year of high school. We felt that the two of us have different perspectives on most issues but could always come to a better understanding of the topic through productive discussion, which is something we felt is sorely needed in our current political climate.

Sometime in October, we decided why not start now and recorded something together which eventually led to a consistent routine that turned into over 11 podcasts! Along the way, we also collaborated with Patrick Phuong and Anson Lee who generously created a website for us as a place to compile the podcasts. Special shoutout also to Vania Gunawan for designing our thumbnail.

Before you see the website, YES the picture is quite blinding and YES we are going to get a better one up. Since this is very much a passion project between friends, as Tim and I get more experience with podcasting and Patrick and Anson become pro-coders, we'll be making improvements as we go along.
